Two Of A Kind

I just wanted to post these two pictures to show how James and Emily look a like. It is really hard to look back at pictures of James and then look at him now. He has grown up so much. As I am taking care of Emily, I feel like I just did this with James. How fast time goes! soon I am going to look at a picture of Emily and think the same thing.

HOME SWEET HOME!!!

It's nice to be home... As you can see, house cleaning has been a little difficult during this transitional period; hopefully my Super Mom power will kick in before I go crazy with clutter.

This mess was actually photographed a few days ago... It has gotten a little better since.

Other then trying to maintain some sort of order in our small apartment, things are actually going very well. James LOVES Emily. He always wants to hold her... He likes it when she grabs his finger, or when he puts his finger in her mouth and she sucks on it. He wants to give her kisses constantly. After every time he gives her a kiss he sighs "Ohhh! cute" it is so precious watching him interact with her.

Her are two stories that have happened in the last few days.
#1.
James accidentally ran into the baby swing when Emily was in it (He didn't know she was in it) When he bumped it he made her cry... He then started crying and saying sorry because he felt bad that he made her cry. He then smothered her in tuns of kisses to make it all better.

#2.
We were at the park yesterday and one of his little friends wanted to look at the baby. I got down on my knees and started to show his friend, and he pushed his friend out of the way and said "My Emmy". Apparently he is a little protective of his baby sister.

We are having so much fun as a family of Four, and can't wait to create more memories as time goes on. Ryan and I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who has helped us as we adjust to life with another kid. We thank you and love you!

These are pictures that we took since being home... I just wanted to point out the picture of James holding a piece to my breast pump... He was trying to make " Mommy milk" apparently how Emily eats is really fascinating.

James & Emily

Just 7 hours after Emily was born James got to meet her for the first time. At first he was a little nervous; he didn't quite know what to think of the hospital situation, and was UN-sure about the little baby that Mommy was holding. however after taking a few minutes to warm up to the environment he was very willing to give little "Emmy a kiss"
(Emmy is how James pronounces her name)

Welcome Emily

Emily was born on March 31st @ 2:41am. She weighed 6lb 13oz and was 18" tall. From start to finish the delivery process only took 5 hours ( 3 pushes and she was out) She arrived in perfect condition with no complications.

WELCOME EMILY KATE WATSON!

A GREAT DAY FOR THE BEACH!

The weather was beautiful this weekend so we decided we had to go to the beach. I am so glad that the cold and rainy days are coming to an end because I truly love the summertime. James was pretty hilarious this trip... He was really scared of the waves, and would cry every time we brought him close to the water. Once we showed him how to throw rocks in the water he finally warmed up to getting a little closer. He would throw a rock and say "Yeah Man!" and then run away from an on coming wave. It was very entertaining to watch.

Saturday

Saturdays are the best... It is so fun to see the way Jame's face lights up when he sees that daddy is home. He loves to climb into bed and snuggle up next to him. Usually I am in the kitchen making breakfast, and I can hear the hysterical laughs coming from both of them as they tickle and wrestle each other until there is no more energy left.

This particular Saturday it was to cold to go to the beach, but James really needed to get out and play so we went to the park to blow some steam. It was a special treat for James since usually it's just him and I at the park (A 9 month pregnant Mom isn't to fun for running and playing) Anyhow, the two of them had a great time playing, running, laughing, and digging. It was pretty windy and cold outside but neither of them seemed to mind.
For dinner I made Jame's favorite (Spaghetti) this is the one food he will continually shove into his mouth until there is nothing left... He will then proceed to pick the remaining noodles of his lap when he has finish what is on his plate. Yes, it looks messy; but usually there is very little to clean up off the floor.
