Well I must apologize for neglecting my blog. Life has gotten extremely busy for us here at the Watson house. I guess I should probably take you back to August and start from there.

In the middle of August Grandpa Tim took our little family camping up at
Twin Lakes in Mammoth with Uncle Logan & Uncle Robert. We had so much fun… We went hiking, fishing, we took a ride on the Gondola, the big boys went mountain biking etc. This was James’s first time camping… He had fun, but just couldn't understand why he was sleeping outside in a tent.

Shortly after going to Mammoth my sister Diane called and invited James and I to the Antelope Valley Fair… We had a great time, James loved all the animals and getting to touch them in the petting farm. He also really liked the children’s play area, there was a sand box full of toys, but the difference between this sand box and any other sand box is that it wasn’t filled with sand; This box was filled with corn bits. James thought it was the coolest thing ever. We played in the corn box for at least 45 minutes.

On September 5th James turned the big #1… That’s right; my baby is growing up and is now a year old. We celebrated at Grandma Lang’s house on the 6th. It was so much fun, we went swimming which is one of James’s favorite things to do, we ate a wonderful lunch, James opened his many presents, and loved all of them… and last but not least he was introduced to his very own birthday cake. It was hilarious… He started off slowly by plucking each little balloon off of the top of the cake and eventually dug in full force. He loved the cake and was really mad when we took it away. I have a video of him eating his cake but for some reason I can’t get it to down load.

The next huge thing that has happened in our lives, and perhaps the reason I haven’t gotten around to catching up on my blog is that my older sister (Chavonne) and her 5 year old son (Ryan) moved in with us about a week ago. We had about two weeks to get ready for there arrival so we had to move everything out of James’s bedroom and some how fit it all into our bedroom. James now has a new bedroom, that most people would call a walk in closet. That’s correct, our son is sleeping in the closet. Don’t worry, and please don’t call child protective services we took everything out of the closet, assembled his crib in there and even decorated it, so besides the fact that is small it’s actually pretty cute.

Last but certainly not least Ryan and I have a few announcements that we would like to make public at this time…

Number 1: Ryan and I have been working very hard as members of the LDS church; we have been taking temple prep classes, and have been preparing our selves to live a higher standard of life. On October 24th we are going to be receiving our endowments at the Los Angeles Temple, and the following day (October 25th) will be sealed for time and all eternity as husband and wife along with our precious baby. We are very excited about this big step and thank all of our family and friend who have helped us get to this point in out lives.
Number 2: We are expecting the second addition to the family. We are about 10 weeks along and are expecting the arrival of baby #2 in mid April. (SURPRISE!!!)

Long Time No Post! (Sorry)

I must admit I am not very consistant with my blogging, however in an attempt to catch up for lost time I will jumble everything we have done the past few weeks into one post. (Don't worry our life isn't to exciting so their really isn't much to post.)

A few things that have happened are... We went to San Diego for Adam's farewell, we went to Sea World (James loved watching the shows!) In addition James learned to share, Sign more, Climb on things, And last James started trying to stand on his own. I have a video of him standing by himself for the first time but I havn't figured out how to post it.

One Big teethy smile for all of you! (Cheese)

Sea World was so fun, Thank you family for taking us!

4th of July pictures with Daddy

He has learned how to share, and can also sign when he wants more. His sign is more of a hand clap but I know what he means.

He goes to bed at 8:30pm and sleeps so long at night that I have to wake him up in the morning (@9:30am) He never seems to happy about that.

He has figured out how to climb up on things; like the dishwasher.

Not All Baby!

My little baby boy isn't all baby anymore... 10 months came way to fast!
  • He eats pizza and pretty much everything else we eat. (Won't eat baby food)
  • He has has 6 teeth
  • He is crawling everywhere and getting into everything
  • He pulls up on things and is starting to walk while holding on
  • He throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way
  • He fake cries to try and manipulate me into getting what he wants
  • He sleeps through the night 8:30pm- 8:30am
  • He wears 18 month size cloths and size 4 shoes
  • He weighs 21 lbs
  • And he is starting to get very clingy (Only wants Mommy or Daddy)

Best Friends

I got the chance to babysit our neighbors baby last night. She and James are like two peas in a pod; They play together everyday, they follow each other around, and get cranky when they are not together. I took these pictures of them playing in Jame's room. Too Cute!

COOL sHOES!

Check out babies new shoes (Size 4). aren't they so cute.

Evening @ The Park

It's been a little hot here the last few weeks and the park by our house doesn't offer much shade during the day. We found that around 7:00pm is the perfect time to play... Good weather, lots of shade, not so crowded. James loves to go to the park. He loves the swings, the slide, and especially the sand.

PS. Notice James has his two front teeth in the (swinging picture).
