Playing Guitar w/ Daddy!

I thought this was so cute; every time daddy brings out his guitar James gets so excited and wants to play too. James usually doesn't touch the guitars when Ryan is gone but as soon as Ryan picks up one of the guitars James finds the other guitar and starts slapping his hands against it.
(It's so amusing that James wants to play along with daddy)

Huntington Library

For my birthday James and Ryan took my to the Huntington Library. I have been wanting to go for such a long time, so this was a really awesome present for me. We didn't get to see everything, but the stuff we did see was amazing. The desert garden & the Japanese garden were the best. James was really good the entire time but I think he had the most fun when we went to the children's garden... (Lots of water to splash in!)

New Past Time

As a family we are aways looking for more wholesome recreational activities to do; this month we have discovered bike riding. Ryan and I both got hand-me-down bikes form grandma and grandpa Clausier, we then bought a bike trailer for $20 bucks at a garage sale for James (He loves it). So anyhow we have made a point to go on a family bike ride at least twice a week.

We are having so much fun with it!

Bath Time

Bath time is always fun... no matter if it's scrub time or play time James always loves it.

My Birthday Dinner

FYI... My 23rd birthday is on Wednesday June 4th; For the occasion one of the things I got from Shari was a gift certificate to the Olive Garden. Ryan & I rarely go out to eat so with this wonderful gift we just couldn't wait until Wednesday. I decided that instead of getting a sitter that it would be fun to celebrate my birthday as a family... We had a really good time.

It turns out that James is a VERY BIG fan of Olive Garden food.

Trouble Is On The Way!

I have been told by several people that I need to be posting a little more frequently... So I am letting you know that I will try. James has accomplished some huge mile stones in this short month, he is sitting up, and now crawling, and sometimes attempting to pull up on things. He isn't very quick yet, but let me tell you... He gets what he is wants. It is so fun to watch him grow and learn! Ryan and I feel so blessed to have such a well behaved, cute, and funny baby. Some cool tricks he learned are making an Indian noise, blowing raspberries, and gargling his spit. (Yummy!)

Surf'N BabY!!!

Today we spent the day as a family at the beach in Ventura; as you can see James had a blast... He loved playing in, and eating the sand. No I didn't want him eating the sand but since it was pretty much inevitable I thought I should at least get a picture of it.
